I would like to introduce you all to something called “Cassandra has no self-restraint.” This is my movie collection. 509 356 dvd movies (Apparently I shouldn’t try counting when I pop a bunch of pain pills and am in such a ridiculous daze that I feel like I’m floating in my own body, who knew?) , 9 vhs, 16 television series, and 37 video games are pictured here. The orange-ish circle/ellipse/oval represents the stack of movies that will not fit on my shelf. The pink-ish circle/ellipse/oval represents 4 video game consoles that are hidden out of site (Game Cube, Super Nintendo, PS2, and N64). The funny thing is that in August of 2010 I only had 2 movie shelves. I have four now and really need to buy about 2 more to hold everything. What’s even more shocking is that I have movies and television series not accounted for in this photo because they have been loaned out to friends and family. I was talking to my roommate today about how I needed a live-in steady boyfriend so I could start justifying the purchases I make for myself. I’ve bought 7 movies in the past 3 days. My roommate proceeded to agree with me, but then made the statement that I needed to get out more in order to actually get a boyfriend. She’s right, but as this picture fully shows it is quite easy for me to entertain myself in my own home. She also then told me that whoever I end up with me is going to be damn spoiled with the way I buy toys, and I agreed but reminded her that they will be MY toys and not his.  Buy yes, this is “No Restraint Cassandra” and her couple thousand dollars worth of zero-guilt/treasure/booty…

Did an official count of my personal movie collection and I am at 250 movies, 3 mini-series, 12 different television series, and 2 workout videos (yoga and belly dancing). I’d say I have a problem but that would give my addiction negative connotations. However you have it, I do believe I’m off to half.com to fill up the bottom shelves.
